Plastic alloy refers to a material formed by blending two or more plastics. It has excellent properties of two materials in performance. It is not a simple mixing of two materials, it must have special equipment and unique processes and additives. Such as PC-ABS PC-PBT PC-PMMA TPU TPR TPE.

PC-ABS

PC-ABS is a blended material of PC and ABS, which is usually supplied in the form of pellets after blending. If two materials are simply mixed and then injected directly, effect is very poor and delamination will occur.
Advantage of PC is that it is rigid and tough, but disadvantage is stress cracking and high viscosity; advantage of ABS is that it has good fluidity but low surface hardness; in this way, blended material PC-ABS retains advantages of both.
PC-ABS has high surface hardness, high rigidity and toughness, and high resistance to stress cracking; its mechanical properties are in between

PC-PBT

PC-PBT is a blended material of PC and PBT, which is usually supplied in the form of pellets after blending. If two materials are simply mixed and then injected directly, effect is very poor and delamination will occur.
Advantage of PC is that it is rigid and tough at room temperature, but at high temperature, thermal deformation is serious. Disadvantage is stress cracking and high viscosity; advantage of PBT is that its rigidity is not affected by temperature and its deformation is small; in this way, blended material PC-PBT retains advantages of both.
PC-PBT has high surface hardness, high rigidity and toughness, high resistance to high temperature shape, and high resistance to stress cracking; its mechanical properties are between two.
High temperature deformation resistance is of great significance for large shell materials.

PC-PMMA

PC-PMMA is a blended material of PC and PMMA, which is usually supplied in the form of pellets after blending. If two materials are simply mixed and then injected directly, effect is very poor and delamination will occur.
Both PC and PMMA are highly transparent materials, but refractive indices of two materials to light are different. If two materials are blended, they will still be delaminated. It is precisely because of delamination that you will find a unique phenomenon---it can emit special light.
General special light powder is toxic and cannot be used in food packaging
PC-PMMMA plastic is transparent, odorless, non-toxic, and can emit special light at the same time. It is a high-grade food packaging material.

TPU

TPU is a thermoplastic elastomer, commonly known as urethane gum. PU is abbreviation of polyurethane. It is mainly used to produce a material of foaming materials, which is often referred to as sponge, but it cannot be used for injection molding. Sponge is a kind of high elastic material, people use modification method in order to produce by injection molding. TPU is yellowish in nature, supplied in pellet form, matt and elastic.
Advantage of TPU is that it has excellent elasticity at low and normal temperature, like rubber; it has excellent oil resistance, at the same time, it has excellent wear resistance and puncture resistance, has excellent outdoor aging resistance; friction with ground without noise, these properties make it the best material for producing tires. Others can also be used as sealing rings and vibration damping equipment.
It has ability to resist chemical corrosion.
Injection molding properties are similar to ABS

TPR

TPR is an abbreviation for thermoplastic rubber. R is abbreviation of rubber. Rubber is mainly used for production of rubber tires, but it cannot be used for injection molding. Rubber is a highly elastic material, usually produced by molding and vulcanization. In order to be produced by injection molding, people have adopted method of modification. TPR, supplied in pellet form, is matt and elastic.
Advantage of TPR is that, like vulcanized rubber, it has excellent elasticity at low temperature and normal temperature; it has excellent oil resistance, at the same time, it has excellent wear resistance and puncture resistance, has excellent outdoor aging resistance; friction with ground without noise, these properties make it the best material for production of tires. Others can also be used as sealing rings and vibration damping equipment.
It has ability to resist chemical corrosion.
Injection molding properties similar to PVC

TPE

TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer.
