Plastic mold maintenance 
Action 1: Cleaning cooling water of mold
1. After mold is removed from machine, operator cleans water in water pipe and on the surface of mold.
Action 2: 5S arrangement of mold table
1. 5S arrangement of mold table before cleaning mold
2. Prepare tools properly and place them neatly.
Action 3: Cleaning mold surface
Clean outer surface of mold before disassembling it to avoid abnormal contamination.

Action 4: Separating moving and fixed molds
1. Use a large copper rod to separate moving and fixed molds
2. Note that it is forbidden to use tools other than copper rods to knock.
Action 5: Separate moving and fixed molds
Place moving and fixed molds separately and neatly
Action 6: Remove mold base fixing plate
Loosen fixing screws with a large copper rod and an L-shaped wrench.

Place removed mold base back plate neatly and safely
Action 8: Placement of ejector plate
Place removed ejector plate tightly in mold base back plate in order to avoid sliding.
Action 9: Dismantle movable mold core
1. Take out fixing block first
2. When taking out mold core, pay attention to taking it out smoothly to avoid mold core being tilted and causing scratches in mold frame.

Action 10: Mold size measurement
Remove mold core and observe it under a magnifying glass.
Action 11: Dismantle mold core
1. Place mold core in precision assembly area for disassembly and assembly.
2. To prevent table from being uneven, place a platform at the bottom.
Action 12: Place mold core in cleaning basket
Mold core must be placed neatly in cleaning container, and position of mold core cannot be changed during cleaning.

Pull out all ejectors and place them neatly on both sides of mold core

1. Place mold core cleaning container into cleaning tank. Note that cleaning liquid must be higher than mold core surface, otherwise mold core will be burned.
2. Set cleaning time and turn on cleaning machine switch in sequence
Action 15: Ejector plate cleaning
1. Use oilstone and rust remover to wipe ejector plate from inside to outside and then blow it clean with an air gun.
2. Standard level is required to be no rust when touched by hand.

1. Use oil stone and rust remover to wipe ejector plate from inside to outside and then blow it clean with an air gun.
2. Standard is required to be free of rust when touched by hand.
Action 17: Mold base cleaning
1. Use oil stone and rust remover to wipe ejector plate from inside to outside, then blow it clean with an air gun.
2. Standard is required to be free of rust when touched by hand.
Action 18: Auxiliary parts cleaning
1. Use oil stone and rust remover to wipe ejector plate from inside to outside, then blow it clean with an air gun.

Action 19: Lubricating oil on mold base

1. Apply lubricating oil to all sliding parts after cleaning
2. Lubricating oil should be applied in an appropriate amount and evenly
Action 21: Mold frame cleaning
1. Use sandpaper and rust remover to wipe ejector plate from inside to outside, then blow it clean with an air gun.
2. It is required that there is no rust when touched by hand to meet standard.

Action 22: Mold core flushing
1. Treat mold core that has been electrolyzed with cleaning melt with neutralizing liquid and then rinse it with clean water.
2. It is required that there is no rust when touched by hand to meet standard.
Action 23: Soak in alcohol
Put mold that has been rinsed with clean water in alcohol for more than 5 minutes to allow water in gaps or apertures of each mold core to fully evaporate to prevent rust.
Action 24: Mold core cleaning
1. Use a toothbrush to clean mold core one by one <including COVRPIN exhaust grooves and each surface>
2. It is required that there is no rust when touched by hand to meet standard.

1. Wipe mold cores that have been brushed with a toothbrush one by one with a rag and then blow dry with an air gun
2. Standard level requires that there is no rust when touched by hand.
Action 26: Assembly
1. Compare mold drawing and OK products for assembly.
2. Assembly must be flat and in correct position and direction.

1. Pay attention to whether "0" ring of bottom plate is installed and level.
2. Confirm that bottom plate is in correct direction.
Action 32: Lock fixing screws
1. Confirm length and specifications of screws
2. Confirm quality of screws: whether threads are broken and whether hexagonal threads are stripped
Action 33: Confirm levelness of assembly
1. Cover mold core forming part with your hand as shown in figure to prevent copper rod from hitting mold core.
2. It is forbidden to knock with tools other than copper rods.

1. Perform confirmation after assembly: Confirm by comparing mold drawing and OK products.
2. Assembly must be level and in correct position.
Action 35: Confirm with a magnifying glass
1. Use a magnifying glass to confirm assembled mold core.
2. Confirm content: serious distortion, damage to mold core and assembly gap.
3. Assembly must be level and direction and position of mold core must be correct.
Action 36: Dimension measurement
1. Use a tool microscope to confirm mold assembly.
2. Confirmation content: Compare slightly distorted and damaged molds and size level with level before mold cleaning. Measure block size.
3. Assembly must be flat and mold direction and position must be correct.

Action 37: Confirmation before installing mold core
1. Pay attention to whether "0" ring is aged, confirm whether it is installed properly and flat.
2. Clean and confirm mold frame before assembling mold.
Action 38: Install mold core
1. Place mold core smoothly into mold frame, close to reference surface
2. Note that two diagonal corners of mold core should be fixed with screws first, then wedges should be installed.
3. Pay attention to order of screw tightening: first wedges and then mold core, assemble step by step according to diagonal fixing method.
Action 39: Install ejector
1. Note that each ejector should be wiped with a rag before installing ejector, and install it in the order of type.

Action 40: Confirmation after installing ejector
1. Confirm length and assembly position of ejector.
2. Confirm number of ejectors.
Action 41 : Install ejector back plate
1. Note that ejector should enter ejector hole smoothly. It is strictly forbidden to force ejector to enter, which will affect its movement
2. Confirm whether ejector is installed flat and whether steel ring is missing.
3. Pay attention to screw tightening sequence: assemble step by step according to diagonal fixing method.
Action 42: Confirm after installing ejector plate
1. Confirm whether length and assembly position of ejector are correct.
2. Confirm number of ejectors to see if there are any missing or insufficient ejectors.

Action 43: Install back plate of mold base
1. Make sure that mold base fixing plate and ejector plate are kept clean and have no abnormalities.
2. Push in smoothly, distance between two support plates and ejector plate is consistent.
Action 44: Confirmation after assembly
1. Confirm whether ejector protrudes or sinks to meet requirements.
2. Finally, make an overall confirmation <ejector, mold core>
Action 45: Correction before mold closing
1. Confirm whether there are foreign objects on moving and fixed mold surfaces
2. Loosen moving and fixed mold blocks/BLOCK screws 90 degrees, close mold to correct mold core position, separate mold, and tighten screws.

Action 46: Mold closing
1. Confirm whether there are foreign objects on moving and fixed mold surfaces.
2. Slowly and smoothly close moving and fixed molds to confirm that there are no gaps.
Action 47: Appearance Cleaning
1. After mold is assembled, clean outside.
2. Pull mold to mold warehouse for storage.
Action 48: 5S arrangement of mold repair table
1. After mold is cleaned, prepare mold repair table for 5S.
2. Pay attention to final confirmation of whether there are missing mold cores, ejectors, screws, etc. on mold repair table.
