Injection molding machine is a special equipment for manufacturing plastic products. Its main working principle is to melt plastic particles and then inject them into mold to cool and form. Following is an analysis of mechanical structure principles of injection molding machine:
1. Plasticizing device: Plasticizing device is an important part of injection molding machine. It is responsible for melting plastic particles into a molten state. Plasticizing device is mainly composed of hopper, screw, heater, thermocouple and other components. Hopper is used to store plastic particles, and screw rotates in hopper to transport plastic particles forward. Heater is used to increase temperature of screw and hopper to melt plastic pellets. Thermocouples are used to measure temperature of molten plastic.
2. Injection device: Injection device is responsible for injecting molten plastic into mold. It is mainly composed of screw, injection seat, injection cylinder, injection valve and other components. Screw melts plastic in plasticizing device, and then injects molten plastic into injection seat through injection valve. Injection cylinder injects molten plastic into mold by pushing injection seat.
3. Mold closing device: Mold closing device is responsible for closing mold so that molten plastic can be cooled and formed in mold. It is mainly composed of fixed mold, movable mold, mold closing cylinder, mold closing guide mechanism and other components. Fixed mold and movable mold are respectively installed on fixed plate and moving plate of injection molding machine. Mold clamping cylinder pushes moving plate to close fixed mold and movable mold. Mold closing guide mechanism is used to ensure accuracy and reliability of mold closing.
4. Cooling system: Cooling system is responsible for cooling mold and solidifying molded plastic products. It is mainly composed of cooling water jacket, cooling water pipe, cooling water pump and other components. Cooling water jacket is installed inside mold. Cooling water pipe sends cooling water into cooling water jacket, and cooling water pump is responsible for providing cooling water.
5. Control system: Control system is responsible for controlling various working parameters of injection molding machine, such as material volume, injection pressure, injection speed, mold temperature, etc. It mainly consists of controllers, sensors, actuators and other components. Sensors are used to detect various parameters, such as material volume, injection pressure, injection speed, mold temperature, etc., and feedback detection results to controller. Controller controls actuator based on detection results, such as adjusting screw speed, injection pressure, injection speed, etc.
